Carbon Group Announces Christmas Charity Donations 2025
Carbon Group Makes Donations to Three Charities in Eighth Year of Christmas Gifting Initiative

Once again, in lieu of corporate Christmas gifting, Carbon Group has opted to spread some Christmas joy by making donations to a selection of charities that are meaningful to our team members.
This approach, which has been very well-received by our customers and clients, was launched in 2017.
“Each year for the last eight years, we’ve consulted with our team leaders as we look at which charities hold a special significance for the Carbon Group community”, explains Carbon Group Managing Director, Brian Walsh.
“This year, with the help of Carbon Group’s recently-established Social Committee, we’ve decided to donate to: Cork University Hospital Children’s Ward, Lower Harbour National School, Ringaskiddy and Autism NI.”

Charity Profiles:
Cork University Hospital Children’s Ward
CUH Children’s Ward was selected by the Carbon Social Committee as part of an effort to support children and young people who require medical care.
The ward is currently fundraising for family and patient rooms in the hospital. It’s hoped that, as part of an overall fundraising drive, CUH will eventually be able to include new facilities such as an end of life suite which allows patients to spend time with their loved ones away from the clinical environment of the hospital – while still being given the best possible care. Carbon Group is delighted to be able to make a contribution towards CUH Charity’s extremely worthwhile fundraising campaign.
Autism NI
Autism NI is “Northern Ireland’s longest-serving autism charity and training provider”.
This organisation was chosen by Carbon Group’s Paul McGuinness (Paint & Equipment Divisional Manager) as being a worthy recipient of a Carbon Group Christmas donation.
This donation will go toward funding the Autism NI helpline which receives over 7,000 calls a year and provides autistic people, parents and carers with vital support.
Ringaskiddy Lower Harbour National School
Finally, Carbon Group’s Social Committee wanted to do something for the local community. Ringaskiddy Lower Harbour National School was identified as a very worthy recipient.
The donation was warmly welcomed by the school where the funds will be used for general upkeep and maintenance. We’re delighted that children who attend the local national school in Ringaskiddy will benefit from our donation this year.
As the festive season approaches, Carbon Group would like to wish all our customers and clients a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous 2026.
