‘Cromadex 600 Series’ – Seen in Photos

Carbon Paint Centre’s Branch Manager, Barry Doyle, has been following the trail of some of our popular products.
From the Carbon Paint Centre warehouse to the Coopers Cross development in Dublin’s North Docklands, Barry has been documenting the journey of the acclaimed Cromadex 600 Series.

Barry Doyle updates us on the Cromadex 600 Series and how it’s played a crucial role in the design specifications at Coopers Cross:
“Sometimes when you’re tinting paint it can be hard to visualize how the end product might appear. Then you receive stunning pictures from your customer of the finished product in place.
Thanks to our friend Dermot in Shannonside Galvanizing for sharing these pictures with us. This balustrade was finished using our Cromadex 600 Series after it was matched from an Interpon Powder shade.
Cromadex 600 is a 2k polyurethane topcoat, with excellent exterior durability and chemical resistance. With all standard RAL’s / BS / NCs shades readily available, Cromadex 600 can also be offered in a wide range of metallic / sparkly finishes as well as colour matching from many other ranges.
One of the many benefits of working with AkzoNobel is the ease in which one department helps another. The request for an Interpon shade, in this case, D2525 Y2209I Antu Metallic Matt, is sent to the Cromadex lab and within no time the formula is back.
This balustrade has been installed at the Coopers Cross development in Dublins North Docklands. It has also ben entered into the 2024 GAGA’s (Glavanizers Association Galvanizing Awards).
The very best of luck to Dermot and his team.
